Is UVI's Relayer worth the iLok?

I have remained iLok free until now... just to check the demo of UVI's Relayer.
My question is: is it worth it? Will it be the last delay I'll ever need?

You can still remain iLok free...

You can authorize to your PC via the iLok Software, and
not have to have the iLok dongle...

Yes, that is why I downloaded it to begin with.
Thing is, D16 Group has a sale right now which includes their delay and I only want to get one delay.
So I want a delay to hold my hand and take me off to neverland

Relayer is one king hell delay. It is so much more than just a delay. Highly recommended.

Where you come from is gone...where you thought you were goin to weren't never there...and where you are ain't no good unless you can get away from it.

I've got D16 Sigmund delay which I use extensively and which I think is fabulous - but I have never tried Relayer so can't compare!

Soundtoys EchoBoy. Pricey, but excellent if you're only going to use one.

Everyone loves delays. Right now I've got DDLY, Valhalla Uber mod, Freq Echo, TAL Dub2, Discord 3, and what comes with Sonar and I feel as though I need a replacement for Discord 3.
I think I'll just get Sigmund since it is an award winner.

LOL!!  Fav post of the year so far!!
I would love Relayer. Would like to see what the jazzed up version of Replika is though. I would wait for next Komplete Ultimate for that unless it's really the stuff. I have a voucher.

It's Bass, not Bass.

I understand your thought about the iLok. Since you can just authorize it to your computer now, I don't really give it a thought anymore. I haven't had any problems. I would not ever use one so I have come a long way.

I just spent hours yesterday into the wee hours today and I could write a review for both Relayer and Sigmond.
They are quite different, both good, but Relayer has so many useful features that it wins the battle for me.
It's not perfect, but it is hard not to love it.

IMO Relayer is absolutely top notch delay with great simple interface. It's so easy to use and results are outstanding. Didn't touch Boz Imperial Delay and SoundToys EchoBoy for a month :)
