Is anyone else just tired of crashes for no apparent reason

I don't wont to be Negative but i mean come on even after the patches ???

i had not touched it since i lost my last project i started to use it today i had Two tracks on drum on synth i was playing with Pro Chanel and out of the blue i get Not responding ?

is anyone else having random Crashes ?

    I was; consistent not responding during synth playback. After completely removing any traces of 8.5.3 and reinstalling X1/A/B/Quickfix, the issue seems to be resolved. The audio engine has turned off a couple times when idle but not so much that I can determine a cause.


    Vastly improved stability for me.

    One thing I can say on my end gt, X1 has always been stable for me other than a few 3rd party plugs that seem to crash it randomly at times. But if I stay away from those or use Sonar plugs exclusively, it doesn't seem to crash on me at all believe it or not. I got a few issues with some old DX plugs and Kontakt is totally useless for *me* in Sonar 64. But other than that, it's been really stable for me. There are a few that have mentioned consistent crashes, so you're not alone there. I've not ever had a crash using pro channel though. What drum synth were you using by chance?

    Hi Danny i'm sorry to hear this,i use Kontakt 4.2.2 with trhee libraries and in X1 x64 is perfect and i use Superior with any problems.I use 3rd part plug ins like Voxengo stuff ,NF Magnetic,T-Racks pugs,Studio Devil,Nugen Audio.......

     I'm guessing you mean audio engine crashes? Or is X1 locking up on you?........I think I can safely say most of us on this board are having some kind of problem....hang in there man. It gets better!

    did you fill out a bug report?
    and have you started another post to inquire about the issue in greater detail?.it could help..maybe theres sometihing that could help you fix this rather than just blame x1.

    This was just a Fresh install with the updates. I figured ill try and mess with the app a little bit but when that crash happened i was like i just don't want to get in to another project and a month later have it crash and no be able to open like my last project.

    Its just sucks that 8.5.3 was pretty dam stable for me i cant remember when it crashed last.

    so what your saying is you had a crash..and now you wanna give up on it?cause the way you just phrased this.it sounds like you had a crash and now your just giving up..didnt submit a report.didnt make a post asking if anyone else has seen this behavior?ive had 8/5/3 crash on me as well..so if you tell me you just dont like the new version of x1 as much as you liked 8/5/3 id respect you more.if youve invested money into this dont just give up on it.its a great program..dont get discouraged by one or two crashes my friend.dont ever count yourself out as being part of the problem either.ive made some mistakes myself and ive blaimed on the software..and you know what?when it turns out it was me..i feel real small.dont ever exspect to just load it up and never run into issues.if you do.then you might as well break out the reel to reel..and even that ate tape once in a while
