I have Project 5 running well on Windows 10. It's an HP laptop that I like to carry around with me as a scratch pad.

Oh my goodness,  P5 v2 is running in Windows 10.. Oh boy there is hope after all.   I miss P5 so much,  I was telling BobF this the other day in a Sonar forum.  I will dust off my P5 box and then run the the v2.5 update from my server and see what I can do with It.   First on my laptop so it doesn't interfere with Sonar X3e and if all goes well.  I will have Sonar and P5 back together again on the same computer.

    agincourtdb,
You were a regular P5 visitor and contributed to a lost of post in the forums.  It's good to hear from you again.

I installed my original P5 v2 DVD onto my windows 10 laptop just to test it out and it worked.  I then loaded the updates up to P5 v2.5.1  and I was making music again with P5.  Whoo hooo.

The Dimensions pro worked, I forgot it had the older drum module Velocity.  It was good to see an old friend again come back to life again.   I don't think I will load it on my Sonar computer, but I will use it on the laptop with an older 25 key M-Audio Oxygen 8.   The two were working well together last night.

    Peace,

Hi Chris , I have been using Project 5 for years and still love using it . I bought a new Dell computer yesterday with Windows 10 and was wondering if it will run smoothly . Do I need to make changes in Windows 10 before installing Project 5 ?

    Thanks - J.S

I don't have P5 but I've installed several older programs on Win10 by setting compatibility mode to the last working OS. Do this for the setup as well as the installed exe files.
