Is it The Steinberg UR22 or Somthing Else

My audio playback is hicupping sporatically/randomly.  I've eliminated the Sonar Platinum as being the culprit.   I'm thinking it may be the fault of my AI ... a Steinberg UR22.  Does anyone out there have a wiring diagram showing how the UR22 is supposed to hook up with the computer etc?  I've noticed similar kinds of hicupping when the head phones are connected ...  in the headphone jack connection  ... i.e., moving the input jack around causes the problem.  Perhaps the two issues are related!

.... moving the input jack around causes the problem...

Well, that certainly suggests a loose connection somewhere.  How is it you're able to move the input jack?  (It certainly should not be loose).  Do you mean the cable going into the jack?  Do you get the "hiccuping" with a different pair of headphones or when using monitors?

    The Steinberg UR22 Failed 2015/12/30 23:01:51 (permalink)
I went out and bought a different Audio Interface ... a used M-Audio Fast Track Pro.  Installed it.  The problem was gone.  Something having to do with the headphone jack into the Steinberg UR22 was apparently faulty.  As I suggested,  moving the plug going into the jack caused a similar "hicupping" problem.  All systems are working fine now.   Thanks to all of you who offered advice.
