Is it not possible to undock X3's track view?

I'm new to X3 and I am wondering why I am not able to relocate the track view like I can with the browser, console view, etc. There is no option to undock down in the corner and I'm wondering why and if there is a way around this? I screen share between a monitor I have and my laptop screen (much smaller than my monitor) and I want to be able to throw the entire track view pane over to my laptop screen come mixing time to get it out of the way, so that I can take full advantage of my monitor's screen real-estate for the console view. How would I do this? Thanks.

The track view has never been floatable. All you need to do is open the console view in the multidock and maximise that. The track view will then be hidden out of the way.

If you want to see that as well the one way to do that is move the whole Sonar view to the monitor you want the track view on and then float the Multidock or undock the CV and float that to the monitor you want it on.

There's various ways of setting up screensets if you want a timeline and console view on the same monitor.

A cool place to learn about the interface is http://www.cakewalk.com/CakeTV/SONAR-University/Get-Started
You may need to lurk around but the interface should be covered here, at least it was when I was looking for answers last year.
