Is it possible to hook my old PC up with my new one?

It would be really nice if both PCs shared the same keyboard/mouse and LCD monitors.

Is there some way to make this happen?

Sorry for all the newbie questions! I've been 'out-of-the-loop' for a while and a lot has changed since I built my last PC...

You folks are great! Shane

Yes, the device you want is called a "KVM Switch" (Keyboard, Video & Mouse switch)

Prices vary heaps due to many factors - integrated vs manual switching, max number of devices, dual monitor support, audio support etc etc

and whether the switch can handle DVI or only VGA monitors (I've got two of these and they don't accept DVI...).

You would need to get one that matches your mouse/keyboard connections, i.e. either USB or PS/2.

If your monitor has more than one input (as most do), then can use the monitor's input select switch and you will only need a cheap and basic KVM switch for the keyboard and mouse.
