Is it possible to record real time Ez drummer (VST) on Sonar? (excepting drags´n drops)

Hello everyone, I started using ezdrummer on Sonar 6. The drags and drops works fine, but I am trying to figure how to make real time playing/recording on the EZdrum, having no success so far. I just want to create my own variations. Is it possible to do it? Thanks.

if you mean by clicking on the kit pieces in the GUI, then NO.  that's for auditioning sounds only.

to record MIDI hits you'd need to record using a keyboard or drum MIDI controller.

alternately you can click hits in the PRV to "record" them.
