Is it possible to select notes and move notes without having to hold the mouse key to

I copy my midi drum parts into all of my instruments tracks and then create my parts by moving notes to keep my rhythms together but at this point I only want one note so I was wondering if there is a way to horizontally split and delete all of that note spread across the region?

I want to add that some sequencing packages had a split region command to split horizontally for ranges above or below a note.  Does Cake have this?

If you want to keep the notes in the same track, the only equivalent I can think of, is to create a new take lane and put notes from one region into one lane, leaving the rest in another.

    e.g:
    • create the new take lane
    • then click on the clip, then Edit->Select->By Filter entering your note criteria
    • Cut the selected notes from the current clip
    • Paste as new clip into new take lane
    • Make sure none of the take lanes are muted
