Is my the Sound Blaster Recon3D Omega Wireless faulty ?

So i am at the end of a long journey trying to eliminate the hiss i hear in this headset, it is deffinately more noticiable when using skype and gaming .

Things i have tried 

Given my PC its own electrical socket instead of it being in a block of six adapter
Moved the external sound card as far away as possible from the pc and router
Changed my router so it only puts out 5GhZ signal so not to interfere with the Headset
Tried multiple USB slots on front and back of my PC 

The only thing i have not tried is disabling the onboard sound , as this is a external sound card i shouldn't imagine that would do anything .

The "what you hear" option is not enabled and neither is "listen to this device" 
 
Its most noticeable when using skype and gaming .
 
Have asked everywhere else but never thought of asking the good people of Cakewalk.
 
Please help me its driving me nuts .

Have you checked potential interference sources such as dimmer switches or other electronics in the vicinity?

Well i had a ps4 pretty close by that i have now moved away to another room . There is a pretty big set of speakers on my desk and that is about it . I have even moved the wireless reciever/transmitter as far away as i can .
 
tried every single usb port on pc .. 
 
I have sensitive hearing anyway so this just makes it unbearable .
