Is the Cakewalk TapeSim plug-in in Sonar X2 64-bit?

The subject line says it all: the old Cakewalk TapeSim plug-in: is it a 64- bit version in Sonar X2?

It appears that it is. Can someone confirm this?

I renamed it TapeSim.Ax.dll and looked at it with PEInfo and see this in the COFF header:

        Date: 2012-09-12
        Time: 8:40:59 PM
        Machine: AMD64
        File is Executable
        32bit Library

Target machine is 64 bit, but 32-bit library.

I think the entire FX series are 32bit DX.   Going from memory I think some will work in a 64bit environment, at least with a wrapper, but others like the FX Reverb do not.

    Now THAT'S a fine question.

The only effect I could find in the list of audio effects that came close was titled FX2 Tape Sim.  IF this is the one you are referring to, I did a right-click on the effect's property page, down at the bottom where it says Cakewalk, and under About it says it the the Cakewalk Audio FX Pack 2, and a version number.

IF that is what you are looking for info about, I can tell you that it lives in a folder that is in my 32-bit program files folder.

Do you have any additional information that I can use to make sure I am looking at what you are trying to verify?

    Thanks,

if they are dx plugins then they are 64bit there is no bridging of dx plugs.

It doesn't seem to have a flutter control to add a bit of tape speed variation, which is probably very small, but surely there in any mechanical system.
