Is the Lame mp3 encoder working in X1 64 bits?

http://forum.cakewalk.com/fb.ashx?m=2170752&high= I tried to install the lame mp3 encoder in Sonar X1 64 bits. I downloaded the latest 3.99 lame encoder. I get an error message when I try to export an mp3 I also tried AAron's tool without success: http://www.autohotkey.net...Mp3%20Patch/index.html Any ideas?

What kind of error? Sorry for being elementary about it, but are you exporting at greater than 16bits?

I had the lame encoder working with Home studio and when I installed X1 it just worked, which means either X1 automatically has an mp3 encoder or it just found the existing lame encoder.

"unable to launch lame mp3 encoder" And yes I select 16 bits. I installed lame encoder version 3.99.

for aaron's tools you'd need to contact him for problems.

according to the website you linked to above:
"Comments, questions, criticism and insults are all welcome and may be submitted via email, directly from the program"

so launch his program, then email him with the problem you're encountering.  He's a nice guy - I've helped him test things out before.
