Is the Momentus XT safe yet, for DAW use?

I know there were some issues with the first iteration and that a patch was released. Do the new ones have new firmware that makes them reliable- i.e.- no freezes? Anybody using one?

    there was never an issue. some apple people had it not windows..
    i have yet to have one not work as it should

    hmmm, thanks Scott. I didn't know that it was limited to Apple. But I do know that Seagate issued a firmware update for three models to remedy this.
