Is the VST3 folder location SONAR's choosing?

Hi,
 
Is the VST3 folder location SONAR's choosing or can we change the default location?

    No, it is part of the VST3 specification.

    I wish the folder location were a specification for all VSTs. It would make life SOOOO much easier.

    Notation, the original DAW. Everything else is just rote. We are who we are and no more than another. Humans, you people are crazy.
