Usually, the only sluggish thing around here is me.

    Whoa.

    I just rebooted in time.

I was about to get a picture of a slug to post and I got a message from one of those sites that puts you in "Pay us $49 to clean the virus off your computer". Did not click on the bullyshirt OK button. Just shut the computer down. Reboot. Did not "restore" Chrome.

The internet may be "off" today, but not The Bapu.

It seems a little sluggish but not all that much around here...

It's a good thing you're on top of that situation, Bapu.  Hey, Beagle's got some printer drivers he could use some help installing.

Dude, the internet has been off for years. That's why we hang out here.  You never know where the focus of attack will be when you log on. Cyber war is no concept. It is linked directly to economic competition between diverse groups all over the globe including organized crime and other secret societys. Not to mention insane rogue hackers that want to prove their power against the machine. Have a nice day buddy.

Ah, yes, as people get faster connections, more junk on a webpage is put up or a more intricate webpage which takes longer to load then. Thus the Internet was faster 8 years ago because Murphy's Law plays into it, as the Internet content increases the speed goes down (or was that Murphy's Law or was that doubled in processor speed which is suppose to be faster but also has gone down in actual total speed because of more intense software. Well, whatever it is, it is slower.
