Is there a drum map for Toontrack's Electronic EZX for use in Sonary?
I have maps for most of the other EZXs, but haven't seen one for this. And this is one ODD kit to try and map. :) Also, I am using the step sequencer in Sonar. Is there any reason to use the kit in Superior Drummer (which I have also) rather than EZ Drummer? At this stage, I'm not trying to get fancy with mixing - just creating beats. thanks!

Doesn't look like there's any included in Sonar, what's odd about it? Can't help you with the Step Sequencer I'm afraid.

What's odd is that the other kits look like, well drum kits. This thing is WIERD. It's hard to tell what's supposed to be a snare vs a tom because of the interface and the sounds. Here's a picture of what it looks like: http://www.uniquesquared.com/productzoom/TOO-ELECTRONICEZX-DDD So a map would be very helpful vs all the clicking and experimenting required to create a map. Toontrack has other maps available for download, but not this one...

Wow! Thats, er, interesting! What a weird layout, doesn't help anyone at all for mapping purposes. Looks like you'll have to do it the hard way

Well, you see my dilemna! :) And there are about a dozen different samples buried under each of those pads. I know there is gold in there, but it's going to be some hard digging!

Bristol_Jonesey Is there no option to reskin the GUI? No I have just about all the ez drummer sets ... And in my opinion this one is the worst sounding .... Session drummer 3 has a better one for electric kit sounds

I skipped that kit. Doesn't it have an EZX-Keys.pdf? Might have to craft your own map from that.

The pads are numbered and correspond to chromatic scale and to how they're listed in the mixer. But yea, a drum map would be nice.
