Is there a revised ETA for X1b ?
Well, the title says it all really. Is there any official ETA for X1b from Cakewalk ? It would be nice if there was an ETA posted on the sticky above. I'm sure others are hanging out at least as much as I am to get X1b. I'd rather have X1b now (it was supposed to be February wasn't it ?), and then X1c a few weeks (or months) later. Guess my patience is starting to run running low. Cheers - Cliff

Hi Cliff, I think Brandon alluded to the patch being just about ready...

The official ETA is sometime in the next 17 days. :-) I, for one, am willing to let them get it right as opposed to get it fast. But I'm with you, I can't wait!

Do you want them to burn it?! Good Cake takes time to bake. I expect my name written with frosting and some rainbow sprinkles this time around to make up for me having to eat that dry, clear glazed donut in December. At least the coffee was good. D.

Thanks everyone, at least it's looking close now. I'd had a reasonably good run with X1 for the first wee while. Of course I was avoiding the use of known problem areas almost completely. I like X1 quite a lot, but I manage to crash things big time with the prochannel and it's also frustrating the way it turns on/off or incorrectly displays it's status. @cornieleous: crispy 'round the edges is OK, not burnt though. You got coffee too ? I must have missed something. @wicked: Dude, too far indeed - the bowl's all yours. @bapu: I bet you are :-) Cheers - Cliff

If I can make one suggestion: Don't release it on a Friday. (I seem to remember an update coming out on a Friday and that causing some grief with some users as they had problems with the update and of course, couldn't reach anyone to help as it was the week-end...) UnderTow
