Is there a way to copy and paste MIDI velocity data?

Here's my scenerio: I have a repeated staccato rhythm pattern being played by my string section. The rhythm stays the same through the piece, but each bar has different chords being played. I entered the notes manually via the piano roll, so every note is currently at the same velocity. I'd like to increase/decrease the velocity of each note to create a more interesting, dynamic performance. What I'd like to be able to do is manually adjust the velocity of each note for just the first bar, then copy and paste those velocity values to each subsequent bar. Since the rhythm is exactly the same, the velocity data points line up, it's just the notes themselves that are different.

I realize this is probably impossible, since it would only theoretically work in a situation like mine where the rhythm lines up exactly, but if anyone knows a shortcut or something that would be great.

Note: I realize now that I should have just written the first bar, adjusted the velocities, and then copied and pasted that bar over and over and simply moved the notes to form the new chords afterward. The reason I didn't is because at the time I didn't think that I'd have the same pattern throughout the whole piece, but it just kind of ended up that way.

Also, I've already gone through and adjusted the velocities manually, but I'm asking this as a just-in-case for another occasion.

Groove Quantize can apply a velocity pattern as well as quantizing timing. Another option would be to create a Velocity Offset envelope and copy-past- the envelope segment.
