Is there a way to undo only certain events in Undo History?

I'd like to Undo a process (Quantizing) a few steps earlier in the chain. Since then, I have added a plugin etc, and now all those seem to have to be undone as well.. Is there a way? Otherwise inserting FX, Synths and Tracks should maybe have a separate event history to recording and editing? Just a thought..

No,  it's not possible to undo actions out of order. Though some actions might seem to be fairly independent, there are too many dependencies in an application of this complexity to allow for that in general.
