Is there any kind of "play only" mode for .cwp/.mid file?

Hi all, I remember way back in the 90s, I used to used cakewalk pro to create and edit my songs, which would be saved as .wrk files.

Cakewalk also had a companion product which was designed for live performances.  you would feed it a playlist, and it would play the .wrk files sequentially, without all the overhead/options etc. which were available in the full package.  Much simpler to operate in the live environment, and much less risk- you can't accidentally hit a wrong key and mute a track or send a patch change inadvertently mid-song.

I forget what it was called, but was wondering if anyone has any solutions along these lines.  Maybe an idea for the product team- maybe starting Sonar in "performance" mode or something the takes playlists and simplifies the screen to remove all the editing based stuff??

thanks....
