Is there ever a *great* time to buy Ivory?

Is there ever a *great* time to buy Ivory?

I've gotten pretty savvy when it comes to timing when I buy NI or Toontrack products, and am darn good at doing things on the cheap. However, Synthogy seem to be uninterested in letting me avoid breaking my streak.

Do Ivory products *ever* go on sale or end up in some kind of group buy, or are they just so popular that this isn't something that Synthogy needs to do?

    I can't recall Ivory ever being sold with a special super discout promo.  And if they were gonna do it this last year...and even now...would be the time as everybody's hurtin financially.  Even Waves lowered their prices drastically across the board and has several "blow out" deals going.  And if Waves is doing it....that's sayin somethin.  Sorry Craig, ol pal.  You might just have to bite the bullet on this one.

    yea the wave reduction blew me away..even there new product with the dumbed down one knob control i think are trying to reach to a lower income bracket user..as for ivory..never seen it probably never will

    I got my copy of Ivory for free, which I guess would sound like bragging except for the fact that I never use it. I have it installed but have yet to have found a time where I've chosen it over Garritan Steinway (my personal favorite). I doubt my license is transferable otherwise I would sell it to you very inexpensively :)
