FYI - The CHF was acquired under sealed, private bid by one anonymous poster on Sept. 4, 2009 at 18:24 PM EST for an undisclosed amount. As a bonus for taking it off Cakewalk's hands (things were starting to get out of control there and Cakewalk/Roland wanted to wipe their hands of the whole mess before things blew up in their faces) he received 24,365 bonus post counts.
The agreement also included language to the effect that any unsolicited, unwanted, and inappropriate posts generated in any of Cakewalk's other forums would be moved here.
At first the aquisitioneer refused but soon acquiesced when he realized the hefty post count bonus would make him the envy of all posters and even create a following of lesser poster wannabee groupies who would grovel at his feet and protect him from desenters like myself. But I digress.
This entire transaction was part of an underworld conspiracy act to control the trolls and other undesirables C/R considered to be a threat to their domain.
I warn you! This new "keeper of the forum" is like a mob boss. DO not cross him. DO not insult him. DO not poke him with a stick like I did. There will be consequences.
BTW, in case anyone's interested, I'm texting this from a holding cell deep in the basement floor boards where it's dark, damp, and smelly. Send a blanket please! Better yet, send help.
