Is this a bug or...
am I doing something wrong? When I open up a clip, select loop and the pencil tool to add slices, I can't. No matter how I click, no new slices appear. It worked like 5 minutes ago, and now it's not. Any thoughts?

Assuming there's only one snap setting, the one in the control bar, then I've tried with it on and off, still not working:-(

No, it works nowhere. Last time it worked it seemed to be because I did a restart, now that's not helping either. When I click above the loop to add points, it seems to be chaning the resolution in the bar instead of adding a point, could this have something to do with it?

Nope, it only worked once, I double clicked in the bar and it put in a slice, came back and wrote the above message, went back to try it again and nada...
No, there's a bug there. 100% sure. ...

I erased a bunch of slices, and set the snap (event draw duration found under the tools pallet in the left of the control bar) and now it seems to be letting me place them at some interval, presumably the 1/32nd interval set in snap? There's no way to turn that snap off (my other, normal 'Snap by Value" is turned off.

When I double click above the samle, it's not changing the resoltuion, it's something else. The numbers seem to go from 5000 to 10.000 to 15,000 etc...when I double click to put in a slice, the bar changes to B1 B2 B3 ....

oK, figured it out (at least for the moment) when I click on the bar, it chagnes the resoltuion or shows me the number of bars I believe, to insert a slice however, I have to click just a little bit higher. Hope this is it.

Tried it on another clip, still not working, so that wasn't it...ok, about to give up here...
