Is this a song already?

Would some one be neighborly and tell me if this is already a song?

    Dear David,
I can't tell you if this is a song already, but I can tell you that if it isn't it should be! :)

No, but it's a good start. Could be a verse and a bridge. I like the atmosphere of it and the almost reggae feel. Watch your timings though, the bass particularly.

Nothing I recognise, but it could be the basis of something, with the timing tidied up.

I don't think it's a full-blown arrangement - but man that is good. My wife walked in when it was playing and said she wants to play it for her belly dancing class - she started dancing all around my studio.

    Love it.

The world is looking for new musical directions. I'm sure the belly dancing class would find it very navel.
How nice of you to have lint them your musical talents. It's a good start, I would develop it further - don't abdomen it.

Doesn't seem familiar to me either.  I run into this issue often.  I'll come up with a nifty melody and then it seems as if I've heard it before somewhere sometime. But no one's pointed out yet that the song sounds very similar to another one, so guess I'm good.
