Isolate Clips in a Layer - Solved (Was: Exclusive solo on a layer.)

I'm not talking about Clip Soloing (which I just discovered and I'm really ticked that none of you guys told me about this because it is totally awesome ).  I am talking about the feature where you would highlight a clip in a layer and then use "Shift +1" and all the other clips in the layer would become muted and only this layer's clip would be heard along with playback from the other tracks.  It was great to build a comp track and to hear what you were doing in context with the other tracks. 

Using Clip Solo (Shift + Spacebar) is great because you can hear a particular layer or track and solo it quickly when you are doing multiple passes at a section.  I can hear each guitar track separately to see how much slop was in the take.  Unfortunately, you can't hear it in context with the other tracks AFAIK.

X1 doesn't have the same Shift + 1 muting feature and I don't remember what you call it to look it up in the Help files.

Somebody help me out, if you will?

Thanks.   With your help I was able to use "Isolate" as a keyword in the Reference manual search to find "Isolate a Region" and "Isolate a Clip."  The implementation is quite a bit different because you have to hold the CTRL key down and click over various points in the desired clip in order to mute the other clips but it ends up with the desired effect.  I'll probably Key bind that to the Shift + 1 that I am familiar with.

Just a reminder to our seasoned users to cut some of the newbies a little slack about looking up things in the Help files.  If you can"t come up with the proper key word using Help is a real bear.

I discovered that Isolate Clip(s) In Layers is still available via Right clicking a clip in the Track View. 

However, I couldn't find a way to bind it to a key nor was the Right Click menu solution mentioned in the help files or the Reference manual.  Oversight?

EDIT:  I was able to locate the proper command to Key bind it.  It is "Isolate Selection."  A little confusing IMHO when menu items don't match across the references in the program.

It is now key bound to Shift + 1 as it previously was.

Has anyone figured out how to undo this command - un-isolate clip to layer??
