Isolation Headphone Opinions

Hey Guys:
I'm looking at getting a pair of isolation headphones and wondered if anybody had any opinions or thoughts to offer as to which ones to get.

Thanks!!

Audio Technica ATH M-50. Very good monitoring phones. I use them for rough mixing and tracking. I switch to near field monitors when getting a "close to final" mix, then I usually still go back to these headphones for detailed listening.

For isolation I use Sony MDR-7509HDs, but my main mixing cans are Sennheiser HD 650s. Which are open. Beautiful sound!

jude77 - there's a Hardware section in the Gear area in this forum that has a plethora of threads about monitors, headphones, audio interfaces and the like.  Might be a good place to look or post your question.

Two internal 2TB SSDs laptop stuffed with Larry's deals and awesome tools. Studio One is the cat's meow as a DAW now that I've migrated off of Sonar. Using BandLab Cakewalk just to grab old files when migrating songs.

I am using the Koss PRO/4AA - These will keep out a lot of noise. They are old school and heavy though. I have a big head, so it doesn't bother me too much. :)

I'm a big fan of the Beyerdynamic DT770.
The open 990 is great too.
