Issue with FX Chains containing TH2 after upgrading to full version
When trying to use any FX chain preset using TH2, I get a missing plugin error. I am thinking this is because I upgraded to the full 64 bit version. The error that comes up suggests using my 64 bit version instead of the missing version. I can do that and save the chain, however none of the parameters originally written for the TH2 module are saved. TH2 will open in the chain, but using the default preset for the effect which renders the chain preset for the most part useless. Or at the very least, the character of the preset is much different than was intended by the programmer. And there are a lot of the FX chain presets that use TH2. Many of the new Odyssey chains using TH2 for any overdrive in the sound.
Any ideas as to how I can map the FX chain TH2 module to my 64 bit full version yet retain the parameters for the effect? Or is there any way to re-install the 'Lite' version that is included in X2 Pro and have it run along with my full version? (That is without doing a full re-install of X2.
Any other ideas as to how I can get the full functionality of those FX chains?
Any help would be greatly appreciated.
BTW, I am assuming that the issue is tied to my full version upgrade. It could possibly be something else. However TH2 64 bit VST is fully functional on my system and the .dll are installed in the default location.
