It is officially 105.5 F/40.8 C here in the Northeast US.

 
  I'll be glad for tomorrow when lower temps come.Maybe when I get home I'll go fry a couple of eggs in the back yard without the use of fire.

    It was 102.5 here in Iowa yesterday. Last night it dropped to 66 and today it's 58.

    It's been perfectly still all day with a light rain coming straight down and thunder and lightning going off like fireworks. I think it's the first time in the 13 years I've lived here that I've seen a storm with no wind.

    Crazy weather we're having here in the midwest.

    I just got back from a walk half-a-hour ago and was sweating quite a bit but what should I expect?  The temperature was all the way up to ... 65.
