The Britain financial times newspaper quoted informed sources said, European antitrust regulators will approve SONY buy music publishing business of EMI by $2.2 billion. The paper points out that, once the deal is approved, SONY will be possible able to avoid antitrust regulators' longer review to the deal.

Before, SONY had make a concession to the European Union, to get the approval from EU to the deal. After the acquisition is completed, SONY will become the biggest music industry enterprise.

The financial times reported said, SONY will sell some music publishing business products and service of  EMI, the business revenue of about 25 million euros ($33 million) each year.

The European commission spokesman refused to comment, the committee's Press Officer did not comment further immediately.
