3D today has made great strides since the 80's versions. Very watchable (and enjoyable) with the current technology.
I saw "The Polar Express" a fews years back in IMAX 3D. Really changed my attitude towards 3D compared to what I remember from prior decades. But I still wonder whether it is going to continue or not. Personally I think it will. 3D gaming does perk my interest although I have yet to indulge.
