It won't read my VSTi !!!

I recently installed "Trilogy" on my computer and tried to apply it to Sonar X1.
However, whenever I try to turn Sonar on, VSTi Scanner appears and stops after few scans.
(It stops when scanner tries to scan the directory of Trilogy)

Had anyone face the same experience before?

I really want to use Trilogy but Sonar just won't let me!! :(
I need help here please!!

FYI,
I'm using Windows 7 Ultimate w/ 64-bit.
i5 760 w/ 4G DDR3 Ram.
I have plenty of space on my HDD.

Have you tried running Trilogy as a standalone? (just making sure it's not a Trilogy issue). Sometimes, I've had to move/install a VSTi into a different location and let Sonar know where to scan that location. Also try scanning from the Plugin Mgr. and see if you get the same results. You may have to uninstall Trilogy & re-install if none of the above works.

what directory is it in?..have you gone in to plug in manager to make sure its being scaned?have you checked off "scan failed plug ins" in the p.i. manager?make sure the directory its in also doesnt have a bunch of other junk in it that will confuse sonar..when sonar scans for this.it also scans the whole file that its in(you vsts)so if theres something else in their like another dll.for a different software not for sonar.it will faill or hang because its thinking something elsewants to be scaned to?
also let me ask you..did you pick the folder to put it in.sometimes on some occations its best to let the vst install itsself in its own folder(weather it be your c:/programfiles/cakewalk/vsts..)or what ever.

Register Trilogy in a 32-bit app first, like FL Studio, etc. Then Trilogy should scan fine in SONAR.
