It'll All Be Ok In The End - new original song

Hi friendly forum folk
Here's a song I wrote and recorded.
I was going for a robotic/over melodyned sound in the verses
Nits and crits welcome.
https://soundcloud.com/sk...l-all-be-ok-in-the-end

It'll All Be Ok In The End
Written and recorded by Staypress
Backing vocals by Elizabeth Greenway
Ch 1
It'll all be ok in the end
Keep telling yourself my friend
The President's tweeting and his honesty's fleeting
It'll all be ok in the end
V1
They said 'no point in complaining, could be worse could be raining'
I think I'll bury my head
But they said 'stand up and be counted' but it never amounted to anything
Prechorus
I hope you're comfy in your 'free' country
Everything's ok because they told you so
Ch 2
It'll all be ok in the end
Keep telling your self my friend
Accept blind deception for WiFi reception
It'll all be ok in the end
V2
They said 'just go with the program - don't rock the boat man - don't dare to change anything'
Prechorus
I hope you're comfy in your 'free' country
Everything's ok because they told you so
Ch 3
It'll all be ok in the end
Keep telling yourself my friend
Your teenage phone zombie loves his Abercrombie
It'll all be ok in the end
V3
They said 'no point in complaining, could be worse could be raining'
I think I'll bury my head
But they said 'stand up and be counted' but it never amounted to anything
Prechorus
I hope you're comfy in your 'free' country
Everything's ok because they told you so
Ch 4
It'll all be ok in the end
Keep telling your self my friend
The President's tweeting but his honesty's fleeting
Accept blind deception for WiFi reception
Reassurance ain't easy - go and watch a bit of TV
It'll all be ok in the end

Thanks to John Cleese

Cracking stuff mate, turned out really well didn't it? I like the Beatle-esque touches and the radio-distortion synth swirls.

I like the lyrics and the cadence of the lyrics, "tweeting" and "fleeting", that robotic voice with all the swirly stuff going on. Nicely done.

That verse melody over those chords has to be one of the best I've heard around here. Zombie and Abercrombie never worked before but they sure do now!

Your mixes really have a style to them - like you could line up a bunch of songs, and I could pick your mix out of a heap of others. Really distinct part all zoned off, nothing every clashing or even contiguous. Prolly that makes no sense, but there ya go.

    very well done

This tune had me rolling on the floor, between the catchy political lyrics and the sounds you're using, I couldn't stop laughing long enough to really listen, so I have to go back and give it another go.  Sometimes I read the Daily Mail online and I find it so interesting the observations of our country from "across the pond".  It is rather amusing sometimes.  It would drive one crazy if we wouldn't try to find some humor in it.

Wow!!!  Absolutely brilliant.  What a fun song.  The lyrics are really clever and the performance and production are stellar.  It does have a bit of a McCartney feel to it.  It creates that "'could be worse --- could be raining" attitude.
I tell you what  -----  it was so doggone good I had to give it multiple listens.
