you really take blues to the next level- this makes me wanna have a beer and chill out at the bar and just listen -
so loving the tone of the {acoustic} guitar- it almost sounds like a Resonator -

great stuff

The Band19

I was blown away by the 1st version. I mean if you have an underwear model for a girlfriend? And you get a different underwear model as a girlfriend? Maybe she's better? But... Well, ahhh, it's all good either way?

And speaking of underwear models? I tried to find a good pic to post on my song "Walking Round?" You'd be surprised what pops up in your search when you do a picture search on men and women's underwear? Suffice it to say, none of them were acceptable to post on the thread...

Well, Thank heaven for that...
Thanks a bunch for listening again Robby... How do you find the time?
what with all your proclivities... fretless-bass, dobro, underwear models, and all
BTW, FYI, that is not a dobro... it's an older, more primitive biscuit bridge National style resonator...

Coulda sworn I commented on this as I heard this song. Maybe I got a phone call or something....at any rate, the master strikes again. Absolutely fantastic Frank as usual. Great production, playing...space in the mix is killer. Sax was killer...like Dave said, you pay as much attention to your other instruments as you do your guitar. Don't ever change man, simply awesome!

As a side note, I usually hate boxy type snares...but this fit the tune perfectly to the point where I don't think anything else would work as well! You rule Frank! :)

Much like "I Owe it all to Myself", this would make a great TV sit-com theme song.  You are th mix master.  Very cool.

I had another friend buy your CD the other day after he heard my copy.

Very cool Frank.    Daryl

(I side note I picked up Superior Drummer 2 and so far it's pretty cool)
Thank you Daryl... that is very cool...
Please thank your friend for me, and tell him, "if he's not happy, you'll give him his money back"...

I knew I liked it within the first few seconds of the intro! The mix in those first few seconds is perfect and captivating! Loved it!

Really nice song & performances here bud, My only Crit would be one of personal preference in that I am not crazy about the snare sound. It doesn't cut through. It sounds like a snare that was tuned too low, with sloppy worn out springs, and poorly mic'd. Again... Subjective, but that's my 2 cents sir! Nice work!

I think the snare is risky (well, you know, so to speak. I mean it's not dangerous er nothin),
but I like it.

Hi Frank,

This would be a great song even if the performances/production weren't top-notch...but the performances/production are totally top-notch.

Fantastic

Thanks everyone...

Daren, thanks for listening... glad you like the sound of the guitar... it is a resonator, but not a dobro... it has a National style resonator with the biscuit bridge...

Danny, I'm really happy you liked this one... yeah, I found this snare on CW's Session Drummer II or III, and tuned it way down till the you could hear the springs rattle...

Thanks Thomas, so glad you liked  this one... I love your Dream Theater cover... Wow...

ChuckC, I really appreciate the feedback... Yes I did tune down that Snare... I wanted that worn out spring sound... but I do understand, not everyone likes that kinda vibe...
thanks again...

Not my fav of yours ... but a totally awesome offering of fun and blues.  Doubtless this is live performance excellence!

Thanks Reece... I enjoyed the remix of your latest too...

Well Timbo, it is a dangerous business we're in, and tuning down a snare drum IS Risky Bidness...
I'm relieved you liked it...
