It's been awhile

Hey cakewalk forum folks, it has been awhile, but I'm still recording songs.

I have a new one.

This is not the final, but you can get an idea of where I'm going. Thanks for listening.

It's called "Better hold on"

I like the song, and the harmony is great. I do hear a lot of the "room" though. The guitar needs a little taming in the lower end. Nice!

Nice paul , you have plenty of room in there for some buildup sounds or maybe something thats going to enhance what your playing on your guitar .
Play around with some cool ideals and see if they work , you never know there might be something cool that will make this tune sound even cooler .

Ditto, + one on the tune, and the performance? It would do well to be recorded in a proper environment. Nice to see you Limy :-)

This is a good foundation to build a song on.  Personally, the room sound doesn't bother me if you're going for a live feel.  However, this can go in a number of directions, in which case, you may prefer a more controlled sound that doesn't get in the way of your goal.  It pays to be flexible sometimes.

    All the best,
    Lynn
