It's been nice knowing you guys....

 Apparently drinking even small amounts of alchohol can cause cancer...if you believe this article.

 I have heard for years that a small amount of red wine was good for your health.

     Yeah like...you drink, you're screwed even if you quit. So why quit? I don't drink much at all. Very small amounts and only occasionally, but I guess I'm screwed too.

    I wonder what the stats are of people who also smoked or were exposed to second hand smoke while drinking in this 'study'? Some of the cancer's they described lean toward being brought on by smoking or second hand smoke.

    The wine is good for you rumor isn't true. It's not the alcohol in it that's good for you, it's the fruits. You're much better off drinking a glass of grape juice.

    One day, someone will actually make up their minds with facts...we can always hope, right? ..... I'm speaking of the "scientists and researchers" here..... one day they say one thing..... and the next it's the opposite.

    I guess it all depends on who is paying the bill for the research.
