Itty-bitty zoom related bug in Gloucester

Nothing horrible, but a bit annoying...

When i use the z-click-drag to select a zoom area...

The zoom happens as expected, but the tool/icon does not auto-return to the smarttool when i release the z as has always been the case previously...

It onky used to act this way if i selected and released the z before selecting the area. Now it is also doing this with the held-z-during-zoom-select...

Can anyone else corroborate this before i file a bug report?

Thanks...
Keni

I'm not familiar with this zoom thing.

I've assigned my Z key to stop/restart playback, so I'd have to change that first...

Ha! When it happened yesterday, I thought I mistakenly pressed Z instead of holding it down. Yes, I can reproduce it. Go ahead and report it, please.

Keni . . . glad to see you sent the problem report, it is an annoyance. Zoom mouse - drag was working so well in previous updates after being completely broken for so long, hope they fix this soon, I use this every session.

Me too... But i use it constantly in every session... So it's now becoming a new (slower) workfliw that i'm getting used to... I'm glad there are a few shortcuts to switch back to smarttool!

Maybe whike they're at it fixing this they will also reconsider some zoom decisions such as removing the lane zoom limits and stop (only) zooming all lanes at once! Handy, but not what i need most of the time! <sigh>
