Wow , Wow !!! Bobby all I can say is Wow !! How much caffeine did you soak that guitar in before you started playing it ! LOL Just bending a note or two in your head , sounds like your back on track recording with your new DAW !
Keep on rocking buddy ! J. S.

Gotta agree with Mark... vocals would put this over the top! The guitars all sound great IMO, no surprise there, and I think the bass really fills in nicely. Mix-wise the drums are the weak point for me, sounding a bit muffled/distant - I think the tune is worth redoing with the something newer. You know, when you're ready to add vocals.

Sounds like a good plan James, that's sorta me, I lost a bunch of master tracks, but I still have the mixdowns and have been trying to decide on what I want to work on first after upgrading my Cakewalk Daws. Thanks again!

Thank you, It's something I am thinking about re-doing. I should probably change the title, I know the first thought that comes to everyone's mind when they see it is probably : "Oh a Led Zep Cover Tune". Thanks again!

Thanks Mark, it's the same version, I lost a bunch of Master tracks but I still have most of my older Mixdowns from songs I recording in the past. I have been trying to decide what I might want to re-do from those. Your right, I had it waaaaay to hot on the tracks at the time, I had no idea what I was doing at the time I recorded this, I've learned a lot more, but I am still no pro mixer or recording pro. I recorded this on Music Creator 5, Since then I upgraded to Music Creator 7 late last year. Then I got a special offer to upgrade to Sonar Artist and got that but didn't record much. In the last couple weeks I took the plunge and upgraded to Sonar Pro, but I still haven't recorded anything new, I'm looking to find something of mine where I can spend a lot of time and make it the best I can and not rush anything like I used to do all the time in the past. I am loving playing around with this Sonar Pro Daw, I can see it being a big help for me. I'm hoping to upgrade to TH3 Overlouds Full version sometime soon, I have been using Line 6's Pod Farm 1, which I have 3 of their packages for it, the FX Junkie, Classic, and Metal, so I am hesitant to upgrade to Pod Farm 2 Platinum which I would like to do also. I tried a demo of TH3 Full and I really like the sounds it can produce. Your right on about the drums, I couldn't agree more, in the past I was using Studio Drums first version and Session Drummer 2, now since I got Sonar Pro I have Session Drummer 3 which I think sound great with some of the Steven Slate stuff, also got Addictive Drums 2 with 1 choice for a drum pak, I chose "Black Velvet" sound pretty good. Thanks Man!!! I appreciate the kind comments.

Thank you! I agree with Mark on this also, I recorded this a while back, upgraded my Daw recently to Sonar Pro but I haven't recorded nothing with it yet. I'm looking at some of my old Mixdowns and thinking about doing a remake of something and taking some real time with things one song at a time instead of just throwing things out there, LOL well, I mean "NEW RECORDINGS THAT IS" LOL.... I never knew how bad the drums sounded until getting Session Drummer 3 with the Steven Slate stuff in it and Addictive Drums 2 with the Black Velvet set. I recently upgraded to Sonar Pro. Man, I really like their Fairfax 1 & 2 sets. I really need to get used to what I am using make use of what I got new before confusing myself with more new stuff I guess though. Sorry to be a chatter box, just really exited about playing and recording again. I've been slowly learning how to finger pick guitar and having a ton of fun with that and learning. Thanks again for taking the time to listen and comment!

You should be excited! Good to hear you've got new tools to use - those AD2 kits are sweet!

Thank you. I have the Black Velvet Kit, that's the one I chose with the Sonar Pro Upgrade and AD2. I am not thinking maybe I should have chosen the Fairfax 1 or 2 kit's. No regrets though, it is better than what I had before. Another tool in the creative fix so to speak. Although, the thing is, I don't want a bunch of clutter of things I don't use hanging around because they might collect dust when it comes to what I'm going for. This tune is so far from what I have been playing lately it's ridiculous. For me, I am all about the song. Nothing more and nothing less. I've been trying to learn how to finger pick songs lately, I have been having a ton of fun trying to learn either way. It's been fun and a great learning process. I guess. I think I need to purchase a guitar the likes of a "Telecaster" or something like that, I feel drawn to it, and wake up in the middle of the night thinking "Did the TELE just ring?", and then I realize "I don't have a TELE"........ Hahahahah Just kidding....... Yeah, I'm gonna get me a Telecaster style guitar sometime in the near future. Thanks again for listening and replying!

Very cool mate - deffo needs vocals - talk to Batsbrew about a colab - this would be perfect for his voice. As someone mentioned, the recording is a little hot and the cymbals need some top end taking off them

Thank you for taking the time to listen and reply. I originally wrote this on acoustic and adapted it to electric, and what you are hearing now was a complete re-do of 2 versions of ideas. Thanks again!

Thank you Daryl!!! I am going to start from scratch on a remake of this one sometime in the very near future. Yeah Bat's is Awesome, and so is Bob Oister on Vocals, but they are both too busy to bother with me understandably so where vocals go, so I guess I'll just have to wing it. Thanks again!

Sorry Reece. I am working on a re-do of a few oldies of mine like this tune and looking for a good music host that doesn't require you giving away all your rights by sharing your work or songs. So I removed this one for now. I am working on some newbies also, actually, I have tons of new songs, but while a lot of people might think "just throw it out there", they don't understand that when you are a one man band you have a lot to think about and remix's or new-mixes are really hard when it's all just you.
