James vs The Debil Song

This is a tune that was recorded and made up kinda by accident. I asked a friend of mine by the name of James to send me a drum track to experiment with my daw because I needed and objective opinion. To make a long story short this is a improvisational tune, and this is by no means a great mix or nothing like that. It was just me and a friend having some fun making music and I hope it shows in the sounds. I thought it turned out sounding pretty decent and thought I would share it for you to hear. Thanks you all for listening!! Link temporarily removed, James is re-recording the drum track, this was never intended to be a song, James just sent me the drum track and I went from there, I just needed a drum track for an experiment I was working on, which BTW failed miserably.

This is an improvisation song. Hopefully a work in progress depending on the drummer. We shall see.

The drums accents seem to be off the beat of the song.  It think if you quantize them it will work.  Otherwise everything sounds great on this straight Rock piece.  Nice tone on the guitar.  Now you need a some lyrics and a singer!

Hi , I didn't play any of the drums in his song . I sent him a drum track to
work with using drum patterns already made up in my Addictive Drum
software and then he created his guitar music .
If anything sounds off to you I can't change it but I did tell Bobby I might
this week add real drums to his guitar music if I ever get rid of this cold I
have been dealing with for four days now .

              Cheers -James

monster guitar track as always, killer riffs, but seriously,@ 1:50 the fill going back into the riff is not even close to being in time, "quantizing".
im not sure I have ever heard addictive drum loops off time before.
so I would go back to that part and just check it out/fix it.

this tune had my head bobb'in the whole time, great song !

Nice rocker.  A few drum hits are off, but that is what digital editing is for, no?  As noted above, head bobbing material, and I'm not that big of a rocker.

I ask Bobby to remove it  , this time I'm adding real drums to his song .
Four days ago I sent him some drum patterns to try out and mess around with but I have to agree the patterns from Addictive drums really didn't sound that great .

I started working on a new drum track the other day for Bobby using my electronic kit , hopefully by friday the new drum track will ready for him so he can repost the song .

Check back on Friday - James
