Yes, I was experimenting around tonight with JS 3.2.1 and it eventually crashed in more than one attempt.

I have a project saved that works just fine as long as I don't make too many adjustments within JS.  As soon as I start trying different players and kits things start to go down hill and eventually crash.

Too bad because JS is a really nice program as well as X1.  It wasn't this bad in 8.5.3.

You mean 3.1.2 (?)  I have been using 3.1.3 beta 2 since it has come out and it has been very solid. No crashes so far. I would try the beta - easy to go back if it doesn't work for you.

Are you running X1 x64? It may be an installer problem. What I do for Jamstix whenever I load a kit is that I load it up in a 32 bit host first - Savihost,VSTHost are free. Get the kit installed in the 32 bit host (running as administrator), then load up X1, then Jamstix in bitbridge, then you are good to go.

Brando, it was a typo indeed.

I tested most of the JS 2 betas but haven't felt compelled to test the new ones.  This might be a good time as any to experiment I suppose.

    Thanks.

I just run JS3 in 32 bit X1 to compose my music then save and re-open the project in x64 when I am ready to mix and add other soft synths. 3.1.2 has been rock solid for me as well....

Yea those are nice work arounds alrighty guys, and thanks for the info......

Im looking forward to a day with very few work arounds however (pipe dreaming again)... If having to run things in 32 bit just to make them work inside of 64 bit, then maybe I should just stick with 32 bits . Naw.... I need more headaches ; )
