thumbs up Scott, I will have to give your post a little more respect now too. I love the fiddle, its gonna be the next instrument I take a stab at,IMO it can convey the most emotion. That is soo true too, the more you think about what you do the more it just...well...goes wrong... cute chick too, Cian

It can be excruciatingly difficult at first, but don't be too quick to give up.

Awesome! Thanks Scotty for sharing the Vermont Fiddler and, moreover, sharing your thoughts, collabs, songs, and crits ... with all of us 'learners' (myself foremost) for several years now! TBH I've always been curious about your 'electrified' style and vibe, so it was great to see you show and tell your journey via the news-cast woman. Jeff Cook, a reknowned fiddler from Alabama (the band), lives 5 doors down from me in Guntersville, AL; I wonder if you 2 ever met.

Well done! I'm glad you got some recognition. Your really good. I have to disagree with you on one thing though. Just because one may play by reading music doesn't mean they don't play with heart. It's not a fair statement really. Congratulations!

Philip, Thank you and you're welcome! Guitarpima, Thanks! If a player cannot play by wrote without sheet music in front of them, then my statement hold true. However; you have the right to disagree with anything I say so go for it!

I hear ya, I too have lost my dad. He never played any instruments but none the less a dad. I'm only famous in my own mind and kind of like it that way, makes for fewer headaches. Blessings for a new life, John

Scott - very nice playing. Congrats. I was recently in Ireland. You could definitely keep your self in Guinness playing traditional music in pubs. I am struggling to get fiddle in one of my tunes these days using kontakt....there is nothing like the sound of a real (reel ?) fiddle played well. JR
