January Fire - Mix Help

Hey everybody, it's been a while since I posted here, but I need some fresh ears on a mix.

My biggest problem is this second guitar part, fitting in with the other one. I also have had some bass frequency issues. I'm close, but this is proving to be a very tough mix for me.
Anyway, fresh ears and your help and time would be very helpful.

Thanks!

Close indeed!  I like this tuneful rocker and its arrangement.  The mix sounds good on my system so you're in the ballpark.  From one Kansas City member to another, well done!

Cool! I had to do some crafty sculpting with envelopes and my EQ for the bass; I forgot to pull the one down towards the end of the song after the slow break. The ripping solo is also currently missing just after that part too.

I am still not happy with the 2nd guitar. I created busses for both parts and did some EQ cutting and boosting in the same and opposing areas to make them stand out. For the 2nd part, I am thinking about putting an extra widener on the 2nd part, as it is kind of an effect anyway.

Other than that, I think drums are good, bass is pretty good and the keys need a little help in the middle part and I think I may be there. Well, outside of mastering anyway, but I don't rely on mastering to fix my mix.

Thanks for your help!!! Sometimes I drive myself crazy!! Any more comments are welcome. I'm not finalizing this until Wednesday next.
