Jazz guitar accompaniment to funny YouTube videos
This is my new favorite thing and I hope it continues. A jazz guitarist, Publio Delgado, writes and performs insane jazz guitar accompaniment to dumb YouTube videos and it's amazing. Some incredible jaaaazzzz skills on display here.

.... hence clip #1 was actually the most entertaining, by far.

Sorry James. This is a joke isn't it, and I've obviously missed the set-up from another fred or something?

To me it just showed that you can take absolutely any stream of random pitches and rhythms and, with the right chords, it's jazz.

I don't need to. The proof is in those videos. With the right jaaaaazz chords, you can harmonize literally anything and make it musical.

I think he has used a "harmonizer" or pitch changer like melodyne on the original audio, changing the pitch of the words spoken - and then written jazz chords to that. Pretty creative methinks. What a wonderful attempt to bring jazz to the masses. Probably he's going to kill off hip hop. that was a great post, thanks!

I bet that would look appropriate as the head piece at the front of a pirate ship.
