Bob Oister Hey, Robby, How's it going, bro? Hope all is well with you! This is really dynamite all the way around! Great songwriting, excellent playing and vocals, and I think this is definitely your best mix ever, very clean and fresh sounding. The guitar solo really sounded fantastic, too. I have to say this ties with "In Despair" and "I Love You Goodbye" for my favorites of yours. Amazing job on this, Robby, really well done, my friend! Bob Big Bad Bob! I'm glad you liked it, I have an affinity for my originals? And when people enjoy them? It really warms my heart. Now I'm going to need to get off my rear and write some more originals :-) But I'll probably do some cherished covers 1st :-) AND OF COURSE!! Some Christmas Music! Thanks again.

I love the mix and the tune of the song. The vocal is matching nicely with the guitar. The backing harmony is lovely. I am really enjoying this mix and the overall song. Great Job.

And comment on everyone's input, thank you all for listening and for commenting, I will return the favor soon. For now, "it's time to make the doughnuts?" I'll be back to eat them with you all soon. Very good song Robby. As others have noted, it's got a more intimate sound than some of your 'epics' - I think that serves the song perfectly. Nice little touches come through and make the arrangement shine, like the Hammond that appears in the pre-chorus. I only have one very minor nit, and that's to maybe lay off the drum rolls for a while at the start, they have more effect later as the song builds. Beautiful guitar solo btw, love the phrasing.

Great vocals, great melody and vocal arrangement. The Eagles influence is there, but not so much to make it a style copy. The solo is terrific. Coupla mix notes: I found myself struggling to understand/hear the lead vocals. That crash cymbal sounds awful, like it is waaaaay too loud and the virtual mics are out of phase. A lighter, thinner crash would have worked better. I like the bass playing, but it has a muddy, thin presence. As for the accompaniment: not sure, is this a piano or guitar song? The mix doesn't seem to know. Overall, one of the best you have posted, Robby Banned.

Tony! Thanks so much for listening! I look forward to hearing your stuff :-) I'm out of pocket "time to make the doughnuts..." but will be back this weekend? With the phones and can enjoy everyone's talent! There's "a lot" here on this forum... LOL@ my Anne Murry cover!! hahahaha! Yeah, Janet wanted me to sing that one for her? And I said I'M YOUR MAN! or, I'm your Murray, ANN! hahahaha :-) I enjoyed that one too. Thanks so much for your kind words. I'm actually considering another chick cover? Maybe next? An "Indigo girls cover?" They have several very good songs? And I can hear myself doing one? Mine will be "bigger..." than theirs? But I tend to overblow the production thing? But we are who we are... Thanks again Anthony, look forward to your stuff. ============= If "every song you post?" Is a work in progress? Then what you are saying is "I am incapableB of completing ANYTHING!"

And infact? Is it a guitar song? Is it a piano song? LOL! Yeah I wrote it on guitar? But I fancy myself a piano/keys player? So when I record one, I always start with the guitar? And this song is in fact "a guitar song?" But I am always trying to prove myself a piano/keyboard player? So it's an inner battle that goes on on pretty much everything I record and am in charge of :-( I'll try to see if I can improve on that aspect? But it's not easy for me.

It's my passion Karalie! :-) I'm so glad you liked it!! I still may tweak it a little based on some input here, but for a 1st mix? I feel good about this one :-D My mixes used to "suck..." I'm not saying they're good now? But I'm glad people are seeing an improvement, I work so hard at it! Now last night? The laptop I normally plug my phones in to? The jack is toast... So I can't listen in a good environment to others? I'm going to try to address this as soon as possible. Thanks again for listening and for commenting.

From one singer to another :-) Thanks! I need to go back and listen to your latest (notebook speakers :-( my jack died and I can't listen on my good phones) And yeah, when I tell people about my music, I describe myself as "sounding like the Eagles?" So they were an influence on me, and you can hear it in a lot of my stuff. I actually self describe as, Eagles, Jackson Browne, and Brian Adams, you throw them in a blender and hit "frappe?" You pour it out and you get me, and it's not "crapay?" :-)
