I like these kind of productions more than some of the bigger sounding ones you done recently. This has a close, personal straightforward feel (like a good banned). The acoustic holds it together and the sparse (Roy Acuff style) piano accents really well. That percussive organ was a nice element as well (resist the need to joke about this comment). Two suggestions – the guitar solo could use a little boost – maybe consider doubling it or adding some grunge (better yet, ignore me). Lyrically you’re saying good bye because you found someone better suited but you sound very obsessed with Jenny (not sure what to do about it – yes the ignore option again, but it did come across that way to me). Vocal are great, bkups are arranged really well – very pro as always. Keep on runnin’ my friend.

Just Beautiful Robby, Your vocals always send shivers down my spine. It sounds like you poured your heart into this song and its paid off big time. The guitar playing was gorgeous, love the crystal clear mix also. Wonderful, wonderful Song. Glad to see you back posting too. Not the same without you here my friend. Best Mark.

Ok, so I heard this from the facebook link. Like I said there, the mix is one of the better ones you have done. Nice and clear sounding, not the homogenized sound you've had on some of the past tunes.

homogenized? :-) It's like anything else I guess, the more you do it? The better you get at it. Which should make me a marriage experet? But unfortunately, that's not the case. Thanks Hacker. James, sorry about that? The link should be www.reverbnation.com/rockinrobby Ed, thanks for the feedback! I worked pretty hard on it actually. I appreciate it. Mark, thanks very much for taking the time to listen and comment. It's my longest song? Most are about 3 to 3 and a half minutes, this one is over 5 mins! Who's the Manny? Everybody likes my organ :-) Janet, I love your new pic! I've been delinquent, I'll try to do better. Scotty, sorry for that brain gas. Mark MGH, thanks very much! That was actually my last original that I hadn't recorded in the DAW, so now I'm tapped and have to get inspired. Do you know any angry single women?

homogenized..... less distinct...blended together...... made smooth. Yeah, that would be a description I would say fit the earlier tunes. This one sounds better.

Excellent Robby!! The chicken got bitten right to the bone on this one!!!! You really have some emotion coming through on the vocals and the BGV's are nicely arranged. I agree with Manny --- I like the "smaller" sound here. The lead has kind of vintage feel to it and is very tastefully done. Oh ya --- great arrangement. Luv that poultry mate. Freddy J

Listening now..... Nice mix ! The vocals stand out nicely and so do the drums. Great backing vocals! Acoustics sound real nice, but not as clear and sparkly as the mix you sent me. Probably not a bad thing. No more distracting egg shaker. Wonderful job all around.

Guilty... Love the Eagles? They were a huge influence on me? When I describe my music to people who haven't heard it? I say, "take the Eagles, Bryan Adams, and Jackson Browne? And put them in a blender and hit frappe? Pour it out, and you get me? :-) Take the bit that's B***y and pour that part down the toilet? Keep everything else? It's tough because people who haven't heard your stuff? You have to try "to describe it to them?" But in my case, it's actually pretty easy with that frappe recepie? :-)

Hey, Robby, How's it going, bro? Hope all is well with you! This is really dynamite all the way around! Great songwriting, excellent playing and vocals, and I think this is definitely your best mix ever, very clean and fresh sounding. The guitar solo really sounded fantastic, too. I have to say this ties with "In Despair" and "I Love You Goodbye" for my favorites of yours. Amazing job on this, Robby, really well done, my friend! Bob

Great song man. Loved the mix, possibly the best one I've heard on here period! Everything sounded good, don't think you really need to tweak anything, maybe the bv's were close to the level of the lead vocal, but they wouldn't have to drop much at all. Keep up the great work, I'll look forward to hearing more of your stuff. Tones..
