Very nice work Janet, lovely arrangement and playing. Don't know the tune, but I like it a lot!

I've come to the realization through people like Janet, that I was sold as a young boy on the fact that there are only 24 hours in a day. When I talk to her, she's writing 3 new songs every time. So, c'mon and quit treating me as a subhuman, and let me access the rest of the hours you all have. How does she do it? She has a full time job and family too!!!!!!!

Ok. Song comments: (listened through good boom box)

1. Gain seems a bit quiet overall (like about 2dbs).
2. Janet, ugh!, allow some quiet space at the end of your track so it doesn't just cut off. I hear like a loud click noise.
3. Other than that, I'm not familiar with the original tune, but definitely think the composition is excellent!
4. The violin could be brought up 1db, so I don't have to strain to hear it.
5. The flute? is quiet too, except for 2 notes. Raise by a db or two, and reduce gain on those 2 notes.

Other than that... Loved it!

Thanks James and Kevin! Glad you liked it.

David, you always have such detailed critiques of my songs. And always something to complain about! lol. Thanks so much for helping me listen to my songs in new ways and try to make them better. I appreciate it. Yeah, it's hard to believe it took me two weeks to mix this thing, hu? I know it can still use some help. I'll go back and listen to it sometime and try to incorporate some of these and others' ideas. That is, if I can find time between the other 8 songs I'm working on right now. lol (just kidding--it's only 4 or 5.) For those of you who don't know the original tune, it's only 3 chords, so this is definitely different.

For those of you who have never heard this song before...

here is a sloppy "kid's version" of the MELODY ONLY. I'll bet a lot of you have heard this before and just don't recognize it because she's not playing the melody.
