I think some folks have the talent and ability, but getting others to join you is difficult. For example, there was a story going around of something that Jon Anderson had written that would involve Jean-Luc Ponti ... which is a really nice idea ... if we can get a Vangelis to create an orchestra behind it, and do another Olias of Sunhillow.
 
It didn't happen! Jean-Luc is already scheduled for life! And Return to Forever is better today, as older folks, than they were yesterday as youngsters trying to do something different! If my name was Jimmy, and that happened, I probably would knock on Jon's door, and say ... I want to add my guitar to it!
 
But I think that Jimmy's days on guitar and work are long over. It might be way better for him to go produce others and help youngsters express themselves ... after all he does know a thing or two about expression, that many don't. Use the whips, I guess!
