    Stuart,

Nice intro that drops into the groove right away. Mix has a nice balance. I like how the percussion is sometimes up front and sometimes more in the back. Good positive motion in the piece. The synth pad that is there for most of the piece comes across just a little bit sandy in the high end on my monitors but that could easily be a personal preference thing. Nice job. A full experience.

Cool track Stuart. Nice mood, quite uplifting and mysterious at the same time. Good mix, great groove, you have that down to a fine art.

Yeah, I've noticed that with instrumentals too.

Good song, Stuart. Good mix with a good feel. I can see it as the opening music in a movie, the preliminary footage with the opening credits.

Stuart, nice work! This is good driving music... we're going to be taking a trip to the mountains next week and I plan on listening to this again on the way up I like the mix... very well balanced, but agree with Bill that the synth pad does come accross a bit "sandy" on my monitors as well... almost sounds a bit like tape hiss. I listened to some of the other tracks on your soundclick site and I really like what I'm hearing... great compositions!

Given the number of people that are commenting on the high end of the pad sound , I thought Id better try and remedy it. Let me know if thats it fixed. The only reason I can think that I missed it is that I have a cold just now and it could have affected my hearing.

Thanks everyone for listening to it.

    Hey Stuart,
cool track, although my favourite part was the mid and i'd like to hear that developed into a full track.
Didn't hear any sandiness, although you've probably remedied this now, but i found the sitarish lead instrument could be a little edgey on certain notes.
Overall though it comes across as a fine mix.
    Good job.

Great track, I too am hearing the tape hiss all the way through the song. Sounds like someone letting the air out of a tire. It honestly didn't bug me much though. Love the driving feel and cool melodies. Very soundtrackish. Good work.

Stuart, great song. I would say this is a very 'flexible' song - eerie, yet it doesn't seem to push you over the edge. It has a promising vibe to it. And I truly believe this song can stand as an instrumental (without words that is ). It features so many cool effects and sounds and doesn't lack a lead melody.
The only tiny critique I have for you is the ending. It's too abrupt, the fade was almost not noticeable. I'd either fade out sooner (longer) or create a complete different ending (I just heard that sitar you're playing all throughout the song, creating a few solo riffs at the end, slowly being faded out ...)
Soundwise, I didn't really hear anything that would have distracted my listening pleasure, but, I indeed heard the 'air being let out of tires' - just thought this might be just one of the effects you've used.
Thanks for sharing your song with us.
    Heinz.

Thanks for taking the time to listen and comment. This air out the tyre sound I think is part of the sound source itself, I think my own hearing (being limited in the high frequencies) is not picking it up I think Ill have to rely on spectral analysis of the sounds to track it down.

    Thanks again.
