munmun Hey guys. Just recorded this- written last month. I dont write love songs, so this is a first for me. The genre is new as well. Let me know what you think. First song on the page. http://www.facebook.com/pages/Sunny-Zaman-Music/148877636665?sk=app_184781670305 I like the embedded player...pretty cool. So far so good. I'd like a touch of room reverb on the vocal... Dude...really nice song. Love the lyrics, melody, instruments and mix. Did you play all that? Nice vocals too. Applause!

Thanks. I played the 12 string, mandolin and sang. The fiddle is courtesy of my favourite session musician- Band in a box. Great program!

I love this... Just cool. BIAB played the fiddle?????????????........WOW.... that works quite nicely. A lot better than the pedal steel I've heard from BIAB.

I am honestly blown away by BIAB. It keeps getting better. Sometimes I get tempted to use the guitar parts although I play the instrument. The recording quality is much better than anything I can achieve at home. Still I stay with the more esoteric instruments.

Thank you. I was about to go in and play with some reverb to see what happens. Any tips? Just the vox?

Go with your ears. I like the purity of it...try not to lose that. I always go overboard so i'm no good to ask. :)

I tweaked this further by playing with verbs to get a more cohesive feel. Any feedback welcome.

Sounds good to me. For this type of tune, as long as the music doesn't get in the way, it's probably doing its job anyway, but it sounds good to me. With the instrumentation that sparse, there's plenty o' space for everything without worries. The vocal sounds confident enough throughout, and I reckon it takes a bit of courage to lay it way out front like this type of tune requires.
