Judas Priest cover "Bloodstone".

Here is a cover of Bloodstone by Judas Priest. The guitars and bass were played by me and the drums are Addictive Drums but I had to rewrite them. The vocals are my friend Jim (7th on soundcloud).

Enjoy!

    Hey, Robert,

It's great to see you back around, hope you're doing well!

Absolutely FANTASTIC job on one of my favorites from the SFV album!

Excellent job on recreating the guitar tones and dynamite playing, great solo work, and Jim did a killer job on the vocals!

When that album first came out, my band did Hellion/Electric Eye and then straight into Another Thing Coming to open our first set for almost a year.  Those were GOOD times!!!

I actually saw Priest for my very first time at the Screaming For Vengeance tour opening night back in 1982, spectacular concert!

Anyway, great work on this, Robert, and good to hear something from you again.

    Have a good one, buddy!
    Bob

Don't know this particular JP tune (I was a fan of their earlier works), but it sounds like JP to me. Bass could come up a hair, but otherwise everything sounds pretty good.

Ditto - bottom could be a little heavier.    But the guitars and vocals sound great!

Great job on this one Robert. Is that you singing. I'd probably blow out my larinix if I tried that. Reminds me of the old days.

Thanks for checking it out. I'll give the bass another listen. I'm still getting used to a sub.

Nice work. I don't listen to JP much so I can't vouch for the authenticity but it sounds good.

Nice smoking tone on the guitars.
