Jumping to Markers

I'm using Sonar X1
When I add markers on the fly, and edit them as the song is running, I press OK the song jumps to that marker instead of just continuing on from where it is. It makes it very hard to seamlessly add Markers and keep track of where I am in the song when it keeps jumping all over the place. The last version didn't do this. Does anyone know how I can stop it happening?
Any info appreciated :)

Wish I could help - I do any marker edits while play is stopped.  Maybe this bump will get someone else to respond with some more helpful information.

I do that, add markers while playing back. I just don't edit them when its playing back. My Mackie Control works with markers well.

I'm with John on this one.

With he project playing, I hit 'M' whenever I want a marker inserted, then i go back and rename them and if necessary, nudge them to a specific beat/measure
