Juno Di as multitimbral sound bank on cakewalk - how?

I downloaded sonar x1 from cakewalk web site and installed as trial. I cant manage to us my roland juno di as sound bank with it now. i want to use Juno with my midi tracks but it only plays first channel. i cant record second one. it retunes back to patch selected on channel one. I set channels respectively, i loaded instrument definition files but no luck. Can some one help me to figure it out step by step? i am not new to DAW thing, i was usign cubase with my yamaha keyboard but this time it is little bit frustration to me. thank you in advance.

I don't have that synth myself, but until someone comes along who does, I can at least generalize. Most synthesizers have at least two modes of operation: a performance mode and a multi-timbral mode. It's the latter mode that you'll need to put the Roland into in order to use it as a multi-channel sound bank.

All else is in doubt, so this is the truth I cling to.

thanks for reply. i figured it out that i need to set juno di to "perform #63" to make it act like a sound bank. but there is another question now. when i set it to perform 63, there are no internal effects on sounds. any ideas?

ok, solved. you need to use juno di editor software. and you need to edit #63 sequence template. you need to turn "effect sends" on, on each cahnnel.
